From Risk to Resilience
This challenge was open to entries leading up to the Global Platform 2022 in May 2022
We live in a multi-hazard world where risks and disasters can harm anyone, anywhere, but they have the greatest impact on the most vulnerable. Reducing our risk and increasing our resilience to disasters is essential to achieving sustainable development - we need to make sure that we leave no-one behind.
The film challenge asked for stories of initiatives to reduce risk from disasters, boost resilience and demonstrate co-operation and co-ordination across communities. We received 62 stories ideas from 28 countries and selected the best entrants to produce films about their stories of resilience.

Restoring Balance with Nature
This challenge was open to entries leading up to the COP26 Climate Conference in November 2021
The film challenge focussed on three themes: Protecting and Restoring Ecosystems, Protecting and Restoring Land, the Challenge of Climate Change.
We received 77 inspiring films from 31 countries across the world. A team of judges selected a shortlist and an online vote decided the people's choice for each category. The jury also selected winners for our special mention Impact Award.
